Temperature this morning was 25 degrees. I stayed up late last night
watching the Rockies and Phillies play (my team is already in the LA
Dodgers) so I got up a little later than normal. I was 100% unmotivated
to run, but I got out the door anyway. It's funny! Once I get
out the door and get past the first mile my whole countenance changes,
and I can start focusing on the run. It's just getting out the door
with not having a bad attitude about running that morning. What do you
guys do when you feel this way about your attitude in the morning with
running, do you go back to bed, or not do it that day, or go ahead and
do it? We should have a poll on this. Anyway, I ran 10.21 miles
at an overall 6:47 pace in 1:09:15. Last two miles at (6:13, 6:18) any
faster and I would have froze. Good run even on the lack of sleep. I've
got to retire my Brooks Axiom 2 shoes. I need to find another size 12.5
cheap like I did these ones. I like them for cushioning.
