Ran the Satterfield loop with Barry this morning with the temperature at 43 degrees. Both Barry and I are recovering well from the Half Marathon he ran, and the Marathon I ran. Barry really looks good. We just wanted to keep the run simple and not push which is ridiculous anyway since we raced last week. Although I pushed harder the last two miles to get back home because of a meeting at work. I ran the last mile at 6:12.

Totals 10.4 miles at an overall 7:06 pace in 1:13.  Blogging days are getting shorter and shorter.

Steve - I really can't afford to go and I ran last week. I know I've done this before but the expense. If I could get a comp entry that would have been nice.

Steve - what do you mean by "double up". Back to back marathon's. I hope you pound the course Steve. Your capable of under a 2:30 if your heart & soul is into it.

Don't be a baby like me last week and not be motivated, heartless, and not focused. Tear the course up. Imagine the year you did the wonderful run in Ogden.

Yes back to back marathons!

Have you tried to get comped? I was told their was going to be a lot of people going and it could be very competitive. The more guys from the blog the better representation.

Sometimes it takes a bigger man to show his emotions Kory. I almost did at Ogden you know. That was the best race of my life so far.

From Kory on Fri, Sep 11, 2009 at 18:34:17 from 134.50.89.55

Steve - I haven't tried a comp. Steve go into the race with some scriptures in the word to help you out. This is what I do and it help build the confidence.
