Today my goal was to beat the 7 minute Garmin Guy, and I was able to accomplish that.  It was a good run:  6.07 miles at a 6:52 pace in 41.40 minutes with the dog the entire time.  It felt really easy and comfortable.  I ran three of the miles in a lower or 6:30ish pace.  I ran three upward and three downward.  I went up Pocatello creek road, turned on the Olympus hill road than went back down.

Tomorrow I'm going to run three-four miles at a 6 minute pace, and the rest of the week run easy to get ready for TOU.

Last night I sat in our Hot Tub for the first time in a while because of the cooler temperatures.  The Hot Tub felt relaxing.

Here is the name and number of a place with condos for reservation. They may have at least one condo available as a guy up here just cancelled his 3 bedroom condo about 2 weeks ago ($300 a night, Friday and Saturday) because two of his buddies backed out. Resorts Reservations of St. George: 435-673-1392. Hope they still have some left. Maybe Steve, Kory and Ted can hook up and get one. Full kitchen, hot tub/pool access, etc. Could be pretty nice.

Kory,

How did those Ohana Racers perform for you in the Pocatello Marathon? I've got 3.5 weeks until Chicago Marathon and need to get racing flats this week if I'm trying something new. I'm still interested in the Ohana but will have to order as they're not available locally. How is the sizing?

Thanks.

JohnK: They are excellent shoes. I have 88 miles on them and I will run on them in TOU. Their lightweight, but supportive. Chicago marathon what an experience you'll

have.
