I didn't really have a lot of time to run this morning, because I needed to take my kids to school today, because my Aunt, (my wife's business partner in the Daycare), went to the emergency room yesterday.

Yesterday morning she experienced the following symptoms:  very pale, shortness of breath, chest pains and just looked awful.  Also the day before she was complaining about her right shoulder hurting quite a bit.   My wife and I thought she might be experiencing a heart attack.  With this happening her husband drove her to the Hospital's emergency center.  They gave her a muscle relaxer and that didn't help.  They gave her Morphine and that didn't help.  They did two EKG's and they couldn't find anything.  They sent her home after being there for over  8-10 hours and she was still loopy from the Morphine and felt the same way.  I can't believe they sent her home still under the effect of Morphine and still feeling the same way when she went in.   She does see a specialist today at 10am for further testing.

Anyway, I ran 5.11 miles at an overall 6:46 pace.  Splits (7:37, 6:47, 6:15, 6:31,6:38) all flat miles some uphill.  I won't have time for anymore running today, but that's okay the cut-back is good.

It's a little depressing to look at what I was running last year in January 08 (80 -90 weeks) compared to the start of this January, but I decided to cut-down this year and I need to keep that focus.

Please say a prayer for my aunt.

Kory - Your aunt is in my prayers. I understand what you mean being worried especially with those symptoms. Having lost a few friends and family members to heart attacks, I was worried just reading the entry. Glad to see you got a run in and hopefully that destressed you a bit. Let us know how things with the specialist go! God bless.

I will also be praying for her! Let me know if they find anything.

My prayers are with her and with your family.
