Did really want to run today after my wife and I got done with our morning devotions that we've started doing now for the last two weeks.  Right now running isn't that important to me anymore.  I'm running to keep the fitness which is important.  God needs to be ahead of the balance in my life..  I ran 5.33 miles at an overall 6:52 pace in 36.37 minutes.  I had a meeting and that's all I had time for and that's really all I wanted to run anyway.  It was a warm morning some around 30 degrees I believe.  I didn't check the weather this morning before I headed out the door, but there was a nice wind.

I didn't really have a lot of time to run this morning, because I needed to take my kids to school today, because my Aunt, (my wife's business partner in the Daycare), went to the emergency room yesterday.

Yesterday morning she experienced the following symptoms:  very pale, shortness of breath, chest pains and just looked awful.  Also the day before she was complaining about her right shoulder hurting quite a bit.   My wife and I thought she might be experiencing a heart attack.  With this happening her husband drove her to the Hospital's emergency center.  They gave her a muscle relaxer and that didn't help.  They gave her Morphine and that didn't help.  They did two EKG's and they couldn't find anything.  They sent her home after being there for over  8-10 hours and she was still loopy from the Morphine and felt the same way.  I can't believe they sent her home still under the effect of Morphine and still feeling the same way when she went in.   She does see a specialist today at 10am for further testing.

Anyway, I ran 5.11 miles at an overall 6:46 pace.  Splits (7:37, 6:47, 6:15, 6:31,6:38) all flat miles some uphill.  I won't have time for anymore running today, but that's okay the cut-back is good.

It's a little depressing to look at what I was running last year in January 08 (80 -90 weeks) compared to the start of this January, but I decided to cut-down this year and I need to keep that focus.

Please say a prayer for my aunt.

This morning was really foggy and the temperature was 19 degrees.  After morning devotions with my wife I ran 5.34 at 6:37 pace in 35.24 minutes.  I had to take my kids to school so I didn't have anytime to run longer.  Maybe I'll just run 5 miles everyday for now on, it's a good number and a decent fitness workout.  Anyway my splits were (7:13, 6:56, 6:21, 6:24, 6:09).

One thing I haven't mentioned the last few blogs is my body seems totally healthy no pain or soreness anywhere so that's good.

After morning devotions with my wife, I looked outside and the fog was thick again today.  I had more time today and decided to run longer even though I really wasn't motivated to run at all.  The temperature was 21 degrees with no wind which is weird for here to have no wind.

I ran 11.21 miles at an overall 6:55 pace in 1:17.  I picked up the last four miles just for fun (5:52, 5:57, 6:21, 6:51).   All in all a good run which I did my standard Satterfield Rd route, and I was tired and struggling going up the Satterfield hill.  I can tell I've lost fitness going up hills, because I've stayed away from them because of the previous injury.

Mileage wise this week I have no goal.  I'm taking one day at a time.

After morning devotion with my wife, which was very good about honoring one another with love when we make the true commitment in marriage.  When we make that commitment we need to have the most greatest respect for our spouse and honor their feelings, because we truly mean to be with them the rest of our lives.  The only way we can keep that love for our spouse in our heart is to have the love of God shown through our heart to our spouse.

Anyway, I ran 10.6 miles at an over 6:58 pace.  There was still a haze of fog but not as bad today.  The temperature was 26 degrees when I started running and by the end my mustache had icicles hanging off of it.  I probably looked like one of the ZZTOP guys.

Today I started my run around 8:30am.  I stayed up later and played a game on my Xbox 360 till 1am Friday night.  Since I'm not in training mode I didn't really care how my run went on Saturday or if I was going to run.   I did run and did 15.11 miles at an overall 6:59  pace in 1:45.  I did a few in in the 6:20ish range, but I will was just focused on enjoying the run, and the cold 19 degrees weather.  Went up by Satterfield and down Booth Rd.  Then went down Poleline Rd. and down Pocatello Creek Rd.

At least I did 50 miles this week.  I still have no plans for a targeted race right now, and I'm not sure I will.
