After morning devotions with my wife, I looked outside and the fog was thick again today.  I had more time today and decided to run longer even though I really wasn't motivated to run at all.  The temperature was 21 degrees with no wind which is weird for here to have no wind.

I ran 11.21 miles at an overall 6:55 pace in 1:17.  I picked up the last four miles just for fun (5:52, 5:57, 6:21, 6:51).   All in all a good run which I did my standard Satterfield Rd route, and I was tired and struggling going up the Satterfield hill.  I can tell I've lost fitness going up hills, because I've stayed away from them because of the previous injury.

Mileage wise this week I have no goal.  I'm taking one day at a time.

How was the foot? Seems like your really starting to heal.

Rockness - With the prayers that went out for my foot it seems healed. My knee had a small dull ache, but nothing that's a worry or a concern right now. That I believe is from the fall on the ice two weeks ago.

My aunt is doing better on medication they found a tear in her tissue near the stomach which is diagnosed as a hernia. She will have surgery in two weeks. They are going to have to cut a hole in the stomach and wrap it around the hole. As long as she's on the medication she will be pain-free for two weeks hopefully.

Thank you for your constant prayers and being a great friend.

Great news all the way around. I'm grateful for the friendship as well.
