Jeff--Thank you for that and Thanks for the entrance into my last race of the year! Best of luck to you in the old man race. lol (I have to get you while I can!)

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm a newbie at actually "training" for something as big as a half-marathon. It's great to see that everyone's so friendly and supportive on this blog! You've got some incredible running accomplishments!

From Kelli on Mon, Sep 29, 2008 at 19:26:43

Was that to make the rest of us feel bad---that you barely broke a sweat?? i am a sweating machine!!! Scott easily drops 3-4 pounds for every 30 minutes he runs!

Crazy, crazy, crazy!

From Walter on Mon, Sep 29, 2008 at 21:22:57

Melody-- We all start somewhere just ask Kelli! She and her husband have almost caught up to me! I actually have been running most my life besides a few years off from a vehicle accident back in 93. I feel like I have more in me so Ill keep it up till my legs cant handle it. Too crazy huh!?

Kelli, Just cause you sweat like a dog! lol just kiddin. It was actually warm this morning. You and Scott will be known as the running family of the neighborhood. The other morning it was dark and I came upon a few ladies running and I heard them say, thats got to be walter. I didnt even know who they were. Then I went a little further and a couple more ladies out yelled my name and said Is that you walter? funny huh!?

From Camille on Tue, Sep 30, 2008 at 10:46:46

Walter - I'll have to remember that strategy while I'm killing myself on Saturday. Remember my achievements. Good idea.
