I ran all by myself this morning. I did 10.5 miles and my legs are tight.  My route was mostly uphill with a gradual incline. It took me 1:16 to run that which was a bit slow.  Even though I felt like I was pushing it a bit.  I did my last 2 miles with a marathon tempo pace and hit 5:58 and 6:04.  Its starting to get brisk in the morning. My hands were cold.

Hey Walter, nice run this morning. Btw, thanks for the joke!! I got a good laugh out of it. I am definitely going to look into those knee ice braces. Do you use just the brace or the brace and the cooler?

From Camille on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 11:06:09

Walter - Way to run uphill, in the cold, barefoot... oh wait, you aren't the one that runs barefoot. Maybe you chould consider it. It would be a good story.

From Kelli on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 19:29:33

Great run, Walter! You shoulda come and done 10 with us---but if that was slow for you, we really were slow!

Any more thought on the dinner for St George? I am thinking most people were okay with the Pizza and Pasta Factory and the room was available. But I am okay with a park, too. What do you think as you are in charge???

From Kelli on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 19:29:57

Oh, did you sing any songs while you ran all by yourself?

From Walter on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 21:00:48

Teena, The ice jug is what fills the wraps that you buy. You fill the Ice Jug up with Ice and water and the ice water fills into them and you can even buy a pump to have it circulate while your resting. After this frustrating day, I need one for my head!

Camille, No barefoot this morning. I was wiped out but not as wiped out as im feeling now!

Kelli, ooh kelli kelli kelli, am I really in charge? If I am I need to call upon the powers of kelli to help out. I really dont want to put myself in the same situation as Clyde and Mik'l were in last year. Its alot of work. Im for the paying someone and visiting more. Yes I sang disturbia this morning by Rhiana. And the bartender song by Rehab.

From Kelli on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 00:06:52

HMMMM...I do not know the bartender song.

I think you are in charge of making a decision, that is all. I do not know any of these people. I say go with the restaurant, it is super easy. Don't you?

From Walter on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 09:27:44

Its a funny song thats popular on Sirius channel 1 right now. Rehab is the group. Download it and listen its rawesome. I will look at the Discussion Forum and see what I should do for the dinner.

From Cheryl on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 16:08:25

I vote for the dinner at the Pasta Factory. That seems like the easiest and best option. Those that don't want to do that can eat wherever they want and then just come to visit at the restaurant. Won't that work?

From Walter on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 16:15:59

Yeah it makes sense. I just dont want to be at a park making pasta and waiting all night to clean up and stuff. We may even just want to do a meet and greet in the park or somewhere instead of dinner.

From Michelle N. on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 16:19:35

I'm good either way Walter. I am planning on eating pizza for dinner but whatever you guys plan, count me in.

From Kelli on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 17:23:17

So, Walter, let's just get whoever it was in St George to go and reserve the room and then see how many it will hold.

From Walter on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 19:03:42

Michelle, ok Ill put that im for getting a place to serve us.

Kelli, Ok sounds good. If not, you want to help at a park. Because I was just thinking we can the dinner. But who knows.
