Swam 1 mile this morning.  I did it without stopping which is something ive been building up to do. I ran 1 easy mile on the treadmill while conversing with a potential blog user. I just wanted to get something in before i had to go to work and made it a mile. better than nothing!

Thanks for the comment!! Yea, I've noticed when I go too slow my body hurts (especially my knees)! You would think going faster would hurt more (haha), I would of never thought it a cure.

Good Job on swimming that 1 mile without stopping! And running something is really better then running nothing! :)

Hey Walter- good luck on that Tri this weekend. I keep thinking I want to mix it up and start biking/swimming, but I think I need to commit to a Tri first in order to stick with the training. I know that the swimming and biking would help me.

Yeah, I know. What do you expect from Devine? Good riddance I say. Thanks Walt.

I'm racing at Heart of Holliday this Saturday. Talk to you then about weekend runs?

From Walter on Thu, Jun 05, 2008 at 00:06:08

Steve- Im doing a tri this weekend so Ill see how my schedule goes to run with you.

Craig- Thanks i kind of feel like this half ironman snuck up on me. I will definately be glad that I did it though. Its been a goal of mine to do an ironman and this will give me a taste of what its like.

Sierra- you are young and heal quickly! I remember healing from an IT band problem in High school in 1 1/2 weeks. Now its taking me months to get over! Oh well!
