pm--5 Jaunt into Sunbrook. I felt decent even though dinner was still sitting heavy.

pm--5 Default to the tready w/o baseball because the playoffs are on different networks.

pm--5 Anasazi in the fall heat, still 90s down here. The desert cures most ills.

am--6 Nice run in the cool w/ 5x 1-min. pickups at ~7-min. pace.

pm--3 Extended DI at Beattie pace. It's getting a little cooler in the afternoon.

pm--6 Barrel Roll in the evening. It's been a while, but, boy!, did it feel like home. I need the trails in my life. Also, got to watch the PV girls become region champs. That's awesome. It makes me miss coaching.

I finished my summer tome for the year, Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon. It's funny, erudite, obscene. Thanks to the Reddit reading group for the summaries and discussions. Even though it's TP's magnum opus, it's 3rd out of 3 read on my list. But, then again, everyone says the 1st reading is just to let it wash over you. The real joy comes in subsequent readings.
