pm--5 Loop at Chuckwalla, up Beck's Hill and down Turtle Wall. Nice afternoon. I'm thinking my Suunto calculates elevation gain different than Garmins because I end up with almost 150 feet less than others on the same route. 
 

I also finished Animal Farm by George Orwell and Joseph Smith: the man and the seer by Hyrum L. Andrus. The first reminds me a lot of the political rhetoric of today. The second provides a portrait of an interesting historical figure, using primary sources.
