32.9 on the bike - had some time to kill cause of my work schedule and the kids are in school...

this one was a little hard cause the farthest I've biked before -- didn't fuel right I'm sure.  Took some new routes to Stone Mountain and in the park.  some dang steep hills there.

time to do a longer run tomorrow -- won't worry about time

Nice job. That's one long ride

thanks Dale - it is a long ride for me anyway

That's a good long ride. Since I'm doing a half ironman soon I've been reading a lot more about cycling. Sounds like cyclists take in a lot more fuel than runners usually do.

Rhett -- whens your race? thats really cool!

I believe that about the fueling. All I took was water and I totally lost the fire after about 10.. I different ballgame to learn I guess.

Right now it is just a supplement to running. I am enjoying the every other day run/bike right now.

My race is on October 19th in Las Vegas. The swim and run don't scare me a bit, but that 56 mile bike ride in the middle of it all has me worried. It is a very hilly bike course and finishes with about a 10 mile climb ranging from 4 to 6 % incline.

56 miles ending with that climb - then a half marathon -- wow
