T NA NA - several good Tris coming up this next year. Do you want to start with a pool sprint Tri - or an open water Tri? The Herriman sprint Tri is fun, the Deseret Sharks pool sprint Tri in June is a good one for your first.
I really enjoyed the Prove Half Iron in August and the Summer games sprint.
Good luck, no doubt, without Gwen, you will be a great Tri Geek
Stay Kool, B of BS Rools out
*Note, cross training is nothing to poo poo about, riding hard is a great workout, swimming is a cardio monster, some runners that have not experienced the hard bike and swim would be humbled by following in our shoes.

I am planning on the XTERRA Olympic Tri in Moab in June and the one in Ogden in September. :) I have to say ... that Half Iron in Provo is looking super inviting. Just not sure I can be ready in time. :)
