| Nice little night run. 3.25 miles at 7:50 pace. Was enjoyable. After a long stretch of mostly doing one mile at a time, because I have been extremely busy working on my dissertation and working on other responsibilities, I am going to get back into my training. I don't believe all that Sasha says about "neural fatigue," but I can say that it was hard to get myself running hard when my brain was occupied with other things. But this week I actually felt like running and had some more time, so I set the goal to run 10 miles this week and did it. My goal for next week is 15 miles. Too bad now the weather is going to turn cold, but I want to show myself that I can push through that again. |

| 3 miles on a new loop in north Orem. My left achilles started hurting me. It must have been the jump from 1-2 miles a day to 3 miles a day. :) |

| 3 miles down to Provo Canyon and back. I felt much stronger than the past two runs and averaged 6:55 pace. I also passed some high school kids, so that helped my ego. :) |

| Nice 5 mile run down on the Provo River Parkway along University by the Riverwoods and back up on Center Street. Longest run in 2 1/2 months! 7:26 pace average. Was consistent with this pace the whole way. 15 miles for the week, which is right on track for me. |

| Ran again on Palisade Dr. Added two intervals. 1/2 mile at 6:30 pace. And 3/4 mile at 6:38 pace (slightly uphill). It was nice to do some speed work. |

| They said a big snow storm was coming in, so I thought I was getting out just before the storm came. Turns out it was nothing like they predicted, at least in our neck of the woods. 5 miles at 7:20 pace. |

| Nice 7 mile run around east Orem and on the Provo River Trail along University Ave. Was feeling good, so I pushed the pace. The second half has some slight uphills, but I was able to keep the pace going. 6:59 average. |

| Ran down to University Ave. trail, down to Stadium, up University Ave, and home along 800 East. A little cold, but quite a nice day for a run. Legs felt heavy, but pace not too bad. 7:44 average pace. Got my goal for the week: 25 miles. |

| Ran on treadmill at U of U field house. Was nice to push the pace rather than trudge through snow today. I still have some speed, I guess, but not sure if the treadmills were calibrated properly. 7.5 miles in 50:30 (about 6:45 pace, I think). |
