Got up to go ever to the track this morning and got stuck on the pot. My pizza from last night was giving me a nice hello. Anyways, I was a couple min late to meet Clyde at the track - I was a little nervous about the workout with my stomach.

Workout 6x800

1.25 mile warm-up

1. 800 - 2:27

400 recovery

2. 800 - 2:23

400 recovery

3. 800 - 2:26  Stomach started really acting-up headed for the bathroom but nothing happened.

400

4. 800 - 2:27 Decided to head for the bathroom again for another try.

400 recovery

5. Skipped - Still in the Bathroom - noticing a pattern with this workout.

400 recovery

6. 800 - 2:22 Stomach feeling much better.

1 mile cool down.

Really happy about this workout - minus the stomach issues I was having.  It's good to know that I'm at least running my 800's faster than last year.

Evening Run on the Treadmill - every other mile 7:30, 6:30 pace - Total 7 Miles.

good job Steve. I Think you just might run 2:30 this year?

Best speed workout of the year for you. Nice job.

Ah, stomach problems. The only thing worse is needing a bathroom when there aren't any around.

Nice workout. I'm heading out the door soon 6:00pm to do some 800s, however I don't think they will be nearly as fast as you guys were running. I'm still having trouble finding the speed and the extra gears to go as fast as you and Clyde. The first day of school was ok, but I came home very tired. I got up early to go run, but instead ended up dealing with the baby that had decided to also wake up at 5:30.

Steve good job today. You've got to read Sashas blog from Tuesday. Read it all and then lol your way to bed. I already had to tell him it was too funny.

Short notice, but do you have interest in running the Hood to Coast next weekend? I have a friend looking for a 30+ male and female.

Hey Jon, thanks for invite but I'm working in the running store this weekend. Good luck in the race!

Unfortunately I'm not doing it, either. I'm still a year away from meeting the 30 year requirement for their team.
