57:15 AP 9:33 Left about 6:30 and my legs felt tired and sore from cross training this week. After mile 1 I was warmed up and after the big hill I tried to speed it up. Last mile was flat. I wore capris and long sleeves and I was HOT! It was windy too. One minute, a head wind. Next minute, tail wind. Sometimes nothing. Love running outside. It's so beautiful and green and the view of the city I had coming down was awesome!
9:33, 9:47, 10:16, 9:19, 9:15, 9:07 BK Power Yoga-52 minutes. I'm getting more flexible.
My niece and sister are injured and can't run the AF half as they planned. I am a HUGE believer in cross training to prevent injury. I know it helps. Especially core strengthening xt. And rest days. I better remind my other sister of this so I'm not running this half marathon alone. I listened to some One Direction cause my 7th grader wanted me to buy it. I put some on my ipod. Kind of an insult to Coldplay to have that boy band on the same playlist. Actually some of the songs are fun and pretty good but some are not good. "Shot me out of the sky. You're my Kryptonite!" aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
