Utah Valley Marathon 2013: PR 3:16:20, 1st division.

Running With the Bulls 5k 2011: 20:02, 1st place

Race For The Cure 10k, San Antonio 2013: 42:47, 2nd overall

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run a sub 3:20 @ Air Force Marathon 2015.

Sub 20 min 5k

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a 3(ish) hour marathon before I am 40.

6 miles around the base.  It was already 82 degrees and really hot at 7:30.  Legs super tired.  

High of 108 today!  

6 more miles on the TM.  I wanted to go further but no way was that going to happen.  I was so dang hot!

I swear it was over 80 when I finished today at 8AM as well. I don't have the humidity to combat, but dang! That is hot! Go sit in an ice bath :)

Thanks for the comment about a month ago when I joined the blog. Looks like we might have run together in St. George 2010. I ended up with a 3:19. Looks like you are training hard. Good luck in your upcoming races.

Rachel, The heat seriously makes me want to cry. The TM is not the best answer for training, but it sure does help!

Lesley, You are welcome! You ran St. George in 3:19? That is a great time. That race is so huge, I wouldn't be surprised if we crossed paths along the way.
