YEAH!!!! That is the farthest I have ever ran!!  I felt pretty good until the last 2 miles.  I didn't hurt or anything, just juice levels dropped.  It had gotten warmer by then.  The sun did go behind a cloud shortly after that so at least the sun didn't kill me.  I slowed down alot but I made it.  I did have a pretty good hill with 1 mile left to go and that made my last mile 11 something, which I am actually still happy with at that point (hence the name I have kept, i.e. slowpoke).

My dad leap frogged me very 2 miles with gatorade and water, what an awesome dad!!  I am sure that was the longest 2 hours of his life, and I was very grateful for his help.

That is the most I have every drank running, I took a sip or 2 of gatorade and a sip of water each time.  I always thought I would get side aches, but I was thankful for the hydration today, and had no aches or pains.

I averaged 10:19's.  The first 5 I kept under 10's, not by much but I did.

I am pretty sure when I ran 10, 3 weeks ago or so,  I averaged 10:33's and that is quite ecnouraging.

Happy to be doing it.  And I was confused, I don't up it to 20 for a few more weeks, thank goodness!!!

Anna and I had a good run this morning.  I wanted to push myself a bit, and I feel like I did run faster then normal.  Usually I just run comfortably which for me is slow.  This morning I kept hearing my dad's comment "Anyone can go out and run".  I don't want to just go out and run, I would like to improve, so I am going to try to push myself.  Starting with 3 miles at a time.  I am going to start running with my Garmin most days so I can see if I am improving.

Happy to be doing it!!!!

It was quite windy again today.  Windy enough that I almost turned around but am glad I didnt.  Anna and I went to the LaVerkin stake center.  I want to go faster so I tried to.  My first mile was 9:33, second was 9:49 and third was 9:47.  The fourth is all up hill but I kept it at 10:19 (I think).

Those times sure are pretty slow, but they are definatley faster than when I started all this, so that is progress, and I can be happy with that.

Happy to be running!!!

Same 3 mile loop as always, pushing Anna in the stroller.

I didn't want to wake up this morning so I only had time for 3. I felt really good though and actually don't mind the hills so much (when they are short ones). I know they are good for me.

Glad to be doing it!!!!
