Coming off an injury (Excuses, Excuses!!) Short-Term Running Goals: Get some 5K's, 10K's and a few half marathons under my belt. Stay injury free to run the 2009 St. George Marathon. Ran my regular 3 mile loop that I run frequently. The weather was good. Did it in the ususal 30 minutes. | | Comments(4) |

So much for running every other day. That is funny, but I had to take advantage of having a baby sitter this morning and so I ran again.
I combined my usual tougher 3 miler with my usual easy 5 mile and had another good run. I am ready for the 5k I signed up for next weekend. Haven't up my pace any, in fact it took me an hour and a half to run this morning, but I am not running for speed, but for fun. | | Add Comment |

Painters (5 Miles) 00:28:10, Place overall: 57, Place in age division: 13 | | I ran this slower than last year, but I am bigger so that is fine. Next year I hope to run the 1/2 and that will be good. I felt good and will get more miles logged next week. | | Comments(2) |
| | I got new shoes and LOVE them. I was running in trail shoes before, they are good shoes but I absolutely love the new asics. It felt way good to run a longer run today.

| | Same 5 as usual. I am loving my new shoes and need to remember to switch off with my old ones so that they will last longer, but I have struggled with that so far. | | Today I ran the same 8 mile route as the first time I ran 8. That was fun. My leg felt ok as I ran, but now that it is later it is starting to hurt again. As I was running I looked down at my feet and noticed that my right foot does land weird and I am sure that has something to do with the pain. We will see. I would love to break the 8 mile barrier I am on and go for at least 10 next week but I don't want to do permanent damage to my leg. | | Comments(3) |
| | Again I ran 8 and I was happy to notice, my leg didn't hurt after the first few steps. Now that it is later in the day, it still isn't hurting so hopefully it will get better. I am happy with my progress so far and will break my 8 mile barrier soon. | | Add Comment |
| | My leg wasn't hurting so I ran, and felt good the whole way. I want to run faster and hopefully when I shed a few pounds I will. I figure at least I am running and that counts for something. I did my usual run again, a loop around my neighborhood and then out to the LaVerkin stake center and back. I got my Garmin back so now I can switch up my running a little bit and know how far I am going. I am looking forward to using it again and will sometime this week. | | Add Comment |
