Bluck-  I did not enjoy this run.  I'm not sure why I decided to sign up.  My goal going into this run was to keep it easy and post a time over 2 hours.  But, true to my nature I started out a little fast- I kept telling myself to slow down and enjoy the run but it wasn't until RAD kicked my butt up tithing hill that I actually did.   After that I fought with myself mentally- I hated not competing and actually allowing others to pass me.  I fought with my music, which would not stay on and I fought the urge to quit.  I stopped and walked through water stops and 4 or 5 times to reset my music.   Mentally, I think this was the worst run (of any kind) I have ever had.

On the brighter side- I enjoyed seeing and talking with many of the BBK'ers.   I miss running with them and hope after I get my knee fixed I can join them on an occasional run.  But for now its best if I run by myself.

It's so hard not to want to start out fast. Something I need to learn, too. But at least you're out there running. That's the bright side I always look for.

It was good to see you. I'm sorry it didn't go the way you wanted it to.
