VA loop. I've been having weird lower abdominal pain the past couple days, trying to figure out what it is, doesn't feel muscular. Quite uncomfortable to run, though it seemed to numb out throughout the run.

Not the most enjoyable run but it was good to get out. Felt kind of nauseous.

Turns out I'm not so great at this whole get back in shape thing. The only thing holding me back is my lack of motivation (especially when it's below freezing outside) and constant justification of things that shouldn't be justified, such as not going for runs. Having the goal of getting back in shape is great, but it's hard to meet it when I'm missing objectives. I'm looking into local races that I can sign up for to further my motivation and give me something to work toward. I think I might do the Salt Lake Running race series that starts in February, it's far enough away that I can get into decent shape and at least not feel like I'm going die when I race.

Felt good today! Went at my relaxed pace for the first bit, then picked it up. Ended up hitting 50% pace the last 2 miles with the last one being 7:13. Not bad for how out of shape I am. 8:00 average pace.
