Well once again thought it would be somewhat easy today. Nope. We did the normal track warmup (2 laps and stretching and drills) and then distance went for the run. We went to Liberty Park and went short way to the drinking fountain. Then we ran over to the start.

I did 6 miles tempo with Bill, Natalie, Tomy, Chris, Abigail, and Kiley with the other group doing 4 miles tempo. I was told to run at about 7:30 pace I think. Maybe it was slower, maybe it was faster, I don't know. I tend to forget what we do for runs a lot. Ha.

I didn't really know how to pace myself very well, so I just tried to stick with the group for a while. I felt okay. I was way fast with my first mile being 6:48. Then I kept missing the marks on the sidewalk, so I didn't get many splits. My 3 mile mark was a 21:14. PRed in the 3 mile in a workout! But I'm not sure if it counts...Ha. Then I must've slowed down a lot because I finished with a 44:30. I just got tired, but I pushed and I feel I did well. Much better than the last time we did this workout. :)

Then we ran all the way back up to the track, no walking up the hill. We had to run it. But oh well. It was my 2nd time running up it, my first time not stopping at the top to walk for a bit. :)

Then when we got up to the track I did almost 2 laps around the track in lane 8, but not quite, to get to 11 for the day.
