10 miles on a windy cold morning, but it felt good to be running again.

15 miles this morning.  It was a really nice run. It was still cold, but not windy.  I did get a blister on my left big toe though which is really weird for me.  I never get blisters and I was wearing shoes that already have a little over 300 miles on them and have never caused me any problems before.  Who knows? Maybe I had something in my sock.

15 more just focusing on good running form the whole time.  Ended up being about 5 minutes faster than yesterday even though I felt like I was keeping it easy.

4 easy recovery miles in the rain! I almost never get to run in the rain here in the desert so I really enjoyed my run this morning.

Blake has been nursing an ankle injury and made it official this week that he is pulling out of Avalon 50.  That left me to do my last long run solo this morning, but it was a perfect day for a long run; overcast, low 50s, and no wind.  I started off well trying to keep a nice easy pace, but around mile 22 I hit a dark spot for a few miles.  I finally worked through it and did my last 4 miles with an average pace of 7:32.

Total run: 30 miles, 4hours 18 minutes, 1900 ft elevation gain and loss.
