Hey, glad that your quad gets better!
I wanted to run my first marathon since years in April (just a small local race), but I wonīt because my Achilles tendon feels similar as your quad. Itīs okay because I need consistency first. Will need yours (and others) help when I will hopefully run one in fall (Frankfurt). Donīt know what time I will be able to run then.

Nice miles, hope the quad just heals up with easy running. I had a quad injury years ago, really kept me sidelined for too long so don't do that.

Rhett- be careful with those quads when your doing your core workouts so as to not aggrivate the injury.

Glad your quad is feeling better with some easy miles. Avoid any eccentric movements (shortening of the quadriceps) at all cost.
