It's interesting to see you do your long run on Friday and then recover on Saturday. I haven't known many people to do that. It seems like most run long on Saturday or Sunday. Any special reason or is it just what fits best with your personal schedule?

Mack, it all started with wanting to have more time with my family on Saturdays, but I have found that I really like being able to do a recovery workout the day after the long run. It seems to make my legs feel much better. I'll probably keep doing it this way most of the time.
