8 slow easy uphill miles keeping HR under 141 followed by 5 steep downhill mp miles.
The race I'm doing in May is a serious downhill marathon, so I'm trying to get in some downhill training over the next 8 weeks.

Yea, it 's going to do havoc on our legs for sure if they aren't ready. I need to get some more downhill as well. Yikes!

I know Teena. It's going to be here before we know it and our legs are going to have to be ready for some downhill pounding. Just the five miles I did had me ready for it to be over when I finished.
