Completed a dozen marathons and a handful of 50 mile ultras. Short-Term Running Goals: Consistent aerobic and strength training. Long-Term Running Goals: Participate in 5k and 10k races. Personal: I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties. Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation. It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again. Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness. |

| 5 miles outside in perfect weather. Stopped to walk once.
30 minutes of swimming after work. Didn't go very far and was wiped out at the end. Felt really good. Counting it as 1.5 easy miles.
Took an easy 5 mile bike ride with our youngest before dinner. Another 1.5 easy miles equivalent.

| Early 6.3 mi run before work (9:30 pace). Steamy, foggy, and buggy!
Swam for 30 minutes during lunch. A lot of breaks to catch my breath. What a workout. Counting it as 1.9 mi easy miles equivalent. Don't ask how I came up with that number.

| 6.6 mile run & walk during lunch. I started out feeling really good, but was miserably out of breath after 3.5 miles. Might be several factors like high humidity and bodyweight. Not use to heart beating faster or it's not beating fast enough given conditions. HR avg. 112.
