Marathon PR - 3:05 (3:06 at Boston)
Completed a dozen marathons and a handful of 50 mile ultras.
Short-Term Running Goals:
No idea. Just trying to stay in shape after several heart related setbacks.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Lower bodyweight and complete some more races.
Hooked onto running in 2005 after years of mostly powerlifting.
7.3 mi + 3.7 mi
Took several days off last week to get over an illness. HR responding a bit better today. Still feel tired around the 30 minute mark, but can trudge through it now.
7 mi + Strength training
Took a longer lunch for this run. Felt solid first 45 minutes and then HR dropped quickly after running a long downhill. Didn't bounce back after that so had to shuffle the rest.
Strength training after work.
3 mi during lunch. BLAH!
7.2 miles during lunch. Still having HR and fatigue issues around the 40-45 minute point forcing me to slowdown and walk sometimes. Sucks. Might cut back all runs to 40 minutes until I go back to see the specialist.
4.9 miles in 40 min. during lunch. Felt very good. HR and energy levels remained stable during entire run.
Strength training only
4.8 miles during lunch.
