ran this as a tempo of sorts. it is a fairly tough loop course with hills. all the high school kids in the valley were allowed to run as a "training run" and there was a pack of really fast high school kids who did the 10K, the field was really loaded. the winner was ahigh school kid I whose name I can;t remember who ran 32:20 ish. pretty impressive on that course, and edging Jerrell by a few seconds.I ran the first 2.5 miles with Carol R before my legs gave out and I suffered the last 3.7 miles. She always chides me for going out too fast in races so today she ran the first mile in 5:45. that pretty much destroyed me right there.I even got beat by a high school girl from mountain crest. oh well. it was fun. i guess.

Pretty nice time. Especially for sort of taking it easy.

Oh year... belated congrats on that colonoscopy.

The 5k and the 10k are tough courses there. But I love that city! Good race Scott.

Nice race coming off 2 1/2's! The Packers suffered a tough loss. The Badgers and now the Packers, kind of a depressing weekend for me.

thanks Eric, I was pretty tired from those back to back halves indeed. I am bummed about the pack and badgers. More so the pack. I can live with badger losses but not packer losses. well, lets hope it is a wake up.
