5 x 1200 on the track with 300-400 recoveries. finally a nice day.

4:13, 4:13, 4:16, 4:17, 4:18

which I guess works out to about a 5:43 average pace.  about 10 seconds per mile slower than where i would like to be but at this point there is nothing I can do about it. My training for the BB is done for better or worse.

Hey those look pretty darn good to me! I think your training for BB is done for the better.

thanks Nan and Bonnie! I will give it my best. I am hoping to stay on a 6 minute per mile pace as long as I can. tricky with the hills and turns on that course but we will see.

we will have to take some blogger pictures at the end. I'll have my wife bring a camera to the finish.

Good luck on the race! I'm sure you can hold 6:00 pace.

Yeah, those splits are looking AWESOME to me. You're going to clobber me at the bOlder Boulder. My training for it has been as follows: Run, maybe twice per week, each time straight up a mountain. Not exactly 10k training material...oh well, it will be fun anyway. By the way...my race bib for Bolder Boulder says A501, which looks like they put me in the A wave I think...Maybe we'll start out together after all. I'm sure that's about all it will be though, because I'm not shooting for any sub 38, I would stoked to do sub 40 at this point.
