very tough interval workout alone on the USU track in the pouring rain and a chilly 45 degree temperature.   4 x 1 mile with 400 recoveries. Hoped for 5:45 average but that didn't work out, probably not helped by being completely soaked to the skin and frozen. 5:45, 5:52, 5:55, 5:58. I guess I should be glad I kept them under 6 minutes in this weather. I would love to have a nice day to do some of these intervals without dealing with rain, snow, 20 mph winds, this "spring" just won't cooperate.

Plus you pushed through all those hills...

Allie and Burt, thanks, I appreciate the encouragement, I really felt like throwing it in today, but my stubbornness made me go out in this mess and suffer. I must be nuts or something. But it is still more enjoyable than the indoor track or a treadmill I guess.

Did you like how I compared the USU track to hills?

You should have emailed me. I am going out later today to do some intervals. I might do 2000s though. I'm hoping the weather dies down.

Joe, dang, I almost did email you, then I figured you were too smart to go down there in this weather. I could have used the company. How about next week Tuesday- do you have your work schedule yet?

Burt, as the supreme ruler of the facebook FRB united club (or whatever it is called) you should organize a drive to raise money to buy us a new track. we really need one. badly.

From Burt on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 19:25:51 from 206.19.214.144

Knowing me I'd probably embezzle the money and use it to buy macho burritos at Del Taco.
