| | Run with one of my college teammates on my favorite trail run in Utah. Up Armstrong to Mid Mountain and down Spiro, consistent quad burning climb and some awesome views. Best part is bikes are only allowed up on Armstrong so no bikers crashing into you. I'm excited for Pinecone to be completely open and run up to the Crest again. We averaged a sprightly 8:52 pace. | Add Comment |

| | Group run from Highland, locked my keys in my car mistaking my house key for my car key. Graciously was allowed to direct the run by my house and we were rewarded with an exact 10 mile run. Then played Ultimate Frisbee in the park with some friends, hot one!

| | Run around the aves, while running by the capitol a van drove at me on the large shoulder between the road the parking spaces. As I held my ground he proceeded to put me between him and the actual road. As he passed he gave me a face that said "What the F are you doing?" While I responded with some language that would probably get me kicked off this blog to inform him that he was indeed the one in error and not driving between the solid white and double yellow lines. Sadly this happens more often that it should and just goes to show how deficient many Utah drivers are. | Add Comment |

| | BST above the U with one of my college teammates. I felt awful, about as bad as I've felt on a run in a long while. | Comments(1) |

| | Ran City Creek, there was a pretty quick guy with two dogs so we ran near each other for a bit. Last night hiked up to Desolation Lake drank some beers and had a fire. That is what life is about. | Add Comment |

| | Met with James, Allie, Jake and Andrea at 630. It was already pretty warm, we did 9 miles then grabbed my flats and went to the track. 2 laps of ins and outs then 4 by 200 with 200 rest (~31) then one more lap striding the straights. It was tough, I hadn't kicked the tires like that in a while and was pretty well gassed by the end. But I'm going to try like the J. Smith to break 60 tomorrow at the SUGARHOUSE RELAYS!

Sugarhouse Relays (3.107 Miles) 00:17:48, Place overall: 3 | | Jogged tow miles to warm up then did the 5k as a little tempo then changed into my racing onesie to chug a 400. Did two strides and got the baton from Rob Murphy and took off, probably somewhere around 30 at the 200 and felt pretty good but still couldn't get under 60, I ran a 60.2 according to Jake. I actually felt pretty good so I'll probably try again sometime in the near future, it would be really nice to be a sub 60 400 guy again. Then a big group of us cooled down two more miles. | Comments(2) |
| | 2.5 with Jake and Andrea, then Andrea retired from the run while a hoarse Jake and I kept going. | Comments(1) |
