Was looking forward to this race before my cough came back in full force.  But I was going to get out and run anyway.  Warmed up with Fritz then got ready to race.  Felt crappy the whole race, and struggled to breathe well, still managed a 5:05 then 5:25 and a 5:30 and finished 5th overall, 15 seconds off my best time at the winter series so it's a good start.  Cooled down another 4.5 with Adam and Fritz.

Nice work today! A 5:05 while not being able to breathe well holy crap. You will certainly be tearing it up when all the gunk goes away.

It's surprising how Important air and breathing are! Tough to have a cough and come anywhere near your 5k capacity. So a good effort under the circumstances.

Looking good still!

The funniest part (at least to an outsider) was me doubled over coughing up a lung with Fritz egging me on to start cooling down. Luckily I had a cough drop with me for just such a reason.
