I was really fading after 7 miles, then at around 10 I ran into Preston and headed back out Farwest with him adding an extra 2 miles to my day.
I just realized I started this run less than 9 hours after yesterday's run. No wonder I felt so sluggish.

Don't you hate when you forgot what you did yesterday that is effecting todays run?

I thought about about that after I posted on MOnday. I ran a hard 3 miles (my first trail run) no wonder I felt wiped on Monday (I think i remembered the race being on Saturday)

April - Yeah it's unusual for me to follow a night run with a morning run. In my head it was still yesterday like any other run, but I could definitely feel it.

Allie - Um, nothing except miles 5-10 creeping ever closer to 8:00 at the same level of effort. Once I met up with Preston I did manage to liven up a bit, but I was spent after those last 3 miles. Tomorrow I rest :)
