I never thought I would see this happen; Preston ran out of steam today around 16. Usually I am sucking wind just trying to keep up with him at any distance. I picked the pace back up a little after we split up at 18 and added a lap around the lake since I had those nice recovery miles :)  The weather was good and the company was great! We saw a few other runners out there, but not as many as last year.

I think I earned my turkey and stuffing today.

I did my turkey trot 5k on Sunday. That wasn't even close to enough exercise to make up for the gluttony that took place today. I may have to run again in the morning.

Nice long run Mike! I'm not in shape to go that far with you yet, maybe 14 or 15. That is surprising that Preston struggled at all. Maybe he had already been sampling the turkey and stuffing?
