6:30pm

Thursday night Pub Run. We met at a skeezy little tavern in a very sketchy neighborhood in downtown Tacoma. Fortunately we ran toward the nicer houses and around the park. I kept on pace with the leader so I didn't get lost. As far as I know nobody got mugged or kidnapped. I shouldn't complain because I really do enjoy some of the people I meet at these gatherings. Tonight I talked with a couple who I'm pretty sure liked running even more than beer :)

I entered a haiku poetry contest today. Got to be the gayest thing I've ever done.

Thanks allie. These pub runs are fun, but I'm really looking forward to the group I'm starting on Mondays. No beer and no busy streets hopefully it will grow and keep going.

Yeah, running through Tacoma isn't the best. Too bad because I would really like to do lunchtime runs this winter to run during daylight but I hate it sooo much. Soooo sketchy.

Seriously April? Was it so bad that I deserve to be mugged? Are you one of those haiku snobs that think they shouldn't rhyme?

Sleezy pub run sounds like so much fun! I love meeting new and interesting people....makes the running time go by fast! Glad you didn't get mugged! I was always afraid of driving through Tacoma in the daylight! ha!
