4:10am Numbers 32 - Deuteronomy 27

This makes four run days in a row, it's been a while since I did that. This also makes three 50 mile weeks in a row. If I can keep this up through June I may be looking at a PR in July.

I think I'm done for the week. I'm going to a motorcycle rally/campout this weekend. Ride, relax, repeat.

From Steam8 on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 14:09:23 from 166.70.55.77

Sounds like your legs could use a rest! I hope you have a great weekend!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 14:41:04 from 75.196.126.211

Burt - There are probably a few dead bicyclists down there :0

Amy - When you promise to be nice to bicyclists on the road you will be one of my favorite people for real! And I'll also add you to my favorite blogs list ;)

Ahahahaaaa! I know i have issues! My house is off a rode that bicyclists are constantly on because it heads up a canyon. THEY DRIVE ME CRAZY! I don't know if I can do it Rattler! ha!

From Burt on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 18:24:50 from 206.19.214.144

Haha! I used to honk at the cyclists in the road all the time, too. Then I became one. But seriously, if there's a bike lane, use it!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 18:26:52 from 72.102.211.109

Amy - Try to remember the feeling is probably mutual. Most of them probably pay as much in taxes for those roads as you do. Sure, some of them are real jerks(just like some drivers), but give them all 3 feet of space when you pass, and try to smile and wave with all your fingers. Especially to the ones that keep right and try to share the road like me. They will appreciate it. OK, I'm off my soapbox now :)

From DLTheo on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 19:26:38 from 155.130.107.41

Amy, they're probably more afraid of you than you are of them.

From Steam8 on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 20:46:23 from 166.70.55.77

I'm going to read the New Testament every day to help calm my nerves every time they are HOGGING THE ROAD AND IN MY WAY AND DON'T CARE THAT I HAVE BEEN BEHIND THEM FOR A HALF MILE WHEN THEY HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WHITE LINE! :)

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 21:11:07 from 72.102.211.109

They should move over to let you pass(it's even illegal for cars to delay more than 5 vehicles on the road), but do you know what's on the other side of that white line? Rocks, broken glass and other debris that will pop their tires! That's where it collects when the cars sweep it out of the lane. I'm worse than a reformed smoker huh? Oh yeah, I am one of those too. Don't smoke it's gross and bad for you! :)

From Steam8 on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 21:25:32 from 166.70.55.77

Okay! Okay! I will be more kind and wave with 5 fingers when I pass by! :)

I don't smoke, but I drink waaaay too much Diet Pepsi! I think everyone needs a little something...don't you?

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 21:42:38 from 72.102.211.109

Trap - you ought to hop on over to new blogger GoBeth's blog and give her some tips and/or advice on quitting smoking :)

From baldnspicy on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 22:35:03 from 72.77.76.85

Wow! I'm seriously impressed! As if I wasn't before. Keep up the streak and enjoy the weekend!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 23:27:22 from 72.102.211.109

Burt - I think I'll wait for her to ask. Giving unsolicited advice to someone with her own dojo could result in a virtual roundhouse kick in the forehead!

BNS - Thanks. I see you are easing back into some mileage now too. I can't wait to see you knockin' out some PRs!

From nicole on Fri, May 27, 2011 at 01:24:24 from 98.247.220.16

what race are you doing in July?

From rAtTLeTrAp on Fri, May 27, 2011 at 03:41:08 from 72.102.211.109

Steilacoom 4 On The 4th, Warrior Dash on the 17th, the Light At The End Of The Tunnel Marathon on the 24th, and Run4us 5k on the 30th.

Big month huh?

Links to all these on the left.

From Tom Slick on Fri, May 27, 2011 at 10:21:02 from 69.171.160.92

Impressive couple of weeks of running? Do you have a marathon in July? What is it?

What ralley are you attending? Are you doing Sturgis in August.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Fri, May 27, 2011 at 10:37:36 from 24.22.239.183

Tom - It's the light at the end of the tunnel marathon(link in my blog info on the left). No I won't be going to Sturgis, the last time I went there was 2007. I usually go to the Laughlin River run instead because my parents live nearby, but had to skip it this year because of Boston. This summer I'll be staying local for all my biking adventures. This weekend we'll be at Woody's Pig Roast in Waitsburg.
