No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

8:00am 1Peter3 - Revelation 22

I left in a crummy mood again today so I decided I'd just run until I felt better or could not go any farther. I ran the same route as yesterday and was feeling much better(and nearly exhausted) by mile 15, a few minutes later I finished Revelation on my MP3 player. I was still 2 miles from home so I tried to keep the pace up and make it a "long" run. I finished the route and then ran about 1/4 of the way around our condo complex to make sure it was at least a little longer than yesterday :) I didn't finish as strong as yesterday, but my average pace was faster, 7:17 vs 7:21.

Nice Runs! You are insane, back to back 17 milers at faster than your marathon PR pace? What is your next target for your marathon? Great job!!

My body hurts every time I view your blog. those are a couple of monster back to back runs.

Laputka - Today's run was tough. I was really surprised when I looked at my splits on the computer. I thought they would all be in the 8's.

Good luck! I would say you are on track with decent race conditions ... those are a couple awesome training runs!
