FAIL... I left in a foul mood and once things got tough I quickly convinced myself that I had run far enough.

How far were you planning to go?

From rAtTLeTrAp on Fri, May 06, 2011 at 18:03:30 from 72.102.224.107

The plan was 20. If the first 10 ten weren't so hilly I might have stck with it longer.

LOL I wish I failed at 15. Okay I'm gonna tell you you did a good job even though you won't believe me!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Fri, May 06, 2011 at 21:55:49 from 72.102.224.107

Thanks :)

I failed at 7 yesterday, but they were VERY slow. You were still Mr Speedy. Sorry you had a bummer of a run. That is never happy, but there will be sunshine tomorrow, right? Have a good weekend.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Sat, May 07, 2011 at 00:40:11 from 72.102.224.107

Sunday will be a better day for sure. I'm planning on a 12 miler with a friend and then maybe a few more on my own so my appetite is prepped for the Mother's Day BBQ :)

I wish I was running that fast on a training run....what is your next conquest???

Is that you on your bike? Guess I'll have to publish me and my Harley just for fun!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Sat, May 07, 2011 at 09:53:02 from 24.22.239.183

Tom - I'm thinking about a 5k in June, then the Warrior Dash and Tunnel Marathon in July(links to the left)

That is me on the bike in Tennessee. Highway 129

What do you ride?

From Steam8 on Sat, May 07, 2011 at 10:02:36 from 166.70.55.77

I hate bad runs...but, you really should be happy you are able to get out! I have never had a training run or race that I have ever run as fast as you did yesterday. Good run, even if you were in a foul mood!

From Kelli on Sat, May 07, 2011 at 10:41:28 from 71.219.96.115

That Warrior Dash looks very cool. They were at the Expo for the Salt Lake Marathon and I tried to talk my husband in to doing it---I think he would do really well. He said he was afraid of getting hurt.

From Kelli on Sat, May 07, 2011 at 10:45:10 from 71.219.96.115

OH---I just noticed your favorite blog posts ever. I missed the Puke and Pass one. HOLY COW, great race for her. That is hilarious. I love how she just nonchalantly added the puking part to the report. Funny girl. Thanks for sharing.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Sat, May 07, 2011 at 11:07:32 from 72.102.23.112

Thanks Amy, I know I shouldn't complain. I guess my mood was still pretty foul when I got home and blogged.

Kelli - I'm not shooting for any records at the warrior dash. Just some good fun with 3 of my kids, 4 countiing my son-in-law. I gotta be careful and save my speed for the tunnel marathon.

From Kelli on Sat, May 07, 2011 at 11:42:00 from 71.219.96.115

Scott just has a paranoia against hurting himself and rendering his body unable to run. It is sad, because that Warrior Dash really is his thing---cops are good at obstacle courses and he is very strong and a sprinter and so on....I wish he would do it.

You guys will have a blast!

BTW, my favorite post ever is the Vodka at the aide station. I will never forget that (especially since I know Teena so well, all 80 pounds of her! A little vodka goes a long way when you are that tiny!) It was classic.
