No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

5:00am John 20 - Acts 10

I took a different route today and went down Steilacoom hill after Farwest hill and then through the hospital grounds on the way back. By mile 6 the bandaid that started out on my 2nd toe was drifting around at the end of my sock and bugging me so I cut it short. Otherwise it was a good run. It was dry and warm out with a slight breeze and it should be like this all week. I think Spring has finally sprung.

You seem to be completely recovered from Boston.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Mon, May 02, 2011 at 16:03:47 from 72.102.209.5

I recovered during mile 23 before I even finished the race :)

I hate it when bandaids don't stick!

Where is Lakewood? I guess I can Google it!

It's by the lake. In the woods.

It's near Seattle/Tacoma and yes there are lots of woods and lakes.

I lived with a sister in Des Moines and Federal Way about 20 years ago for about a year. It is beautiful. I miss it up there.

I hate wayward band aids

From Kelli on Tue, May 03, 2011 at 13:37:02 from 71.219.96.115

Yeah for SPRING!!!! Band-aids on the toes are a pain in the behind, and i always get weird blisters from them. Seriously, I hate toes.

Nice job today!
