I ran my usual Monday route which is out towards Payson via canal road but this time I extended it up the little hill... I had to keep slowing down but I just kept speeding up so the pace was a little faster than I would like, but it felt comfortable. My wife and I saw a shooting star on Saturday night on our way over to orem, it looked like a meteorite flying across the sky, so I am counting that in my total and I think I am at 6 total now. I felt pretty good today, my average pace was 8:35 with my heart rate average at 149, total time was 43:56. I haven't had to ice my foot today so that is a good sign, I will see how it does throughout the day today and then go from there but I think I am getting closer... I just have to keep my pace easy and not try and over do it and keep my mileage right around where it has been, I don't want to over do it! I finished up with my upper body work out on the Bowflex and some push-ups...

See ya tomorrow.

I ran towards Mini GU corner but did my shortened version of that route, out and back. It was extremely colder this morning than it has been, I think winter is definitely here now folks... My average pace was 9:00 with my heart rate at 142, total time was 37:11. I felt a little better this morning, my legs seemed to hang on today and not give out on me, I will be running up Loafer tomorrow the short version though. I finished up with some core training on the rubber ball and some push-ups, I think I will do my lower body weight training after my run tomorrow I want my legs to be some what fresh when I run up Loafer tomorrow... My foot felt okay, about the same as yesterday I can still feel it but it seems to recover quickly but I still see myself taking it easy through a good part of the winter, good old base building.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran my standard Wednesday route up Loafer and then out towards the mail boxes, just a nice easy pace. Well, it wasn't easy going up but coming down was easy. My foot felt pretty good going up but coming back with about a mile left I felt some mild discomfort... My average pace was 9:00 with my total time at 36:33, heart rate average was 142, I 'm still not feeling better from my cold I felt like staying in bed this morning, not running. Its probably time to go and get a physical, I haven't had one of those for a while. No strength training today, just taking it easy.

See ya tomorrow.

I did not run this morning I just didn't feel like it! Call me lazy or what ever but it just didn't happen today... My motivation levels are just a little low this time of year, it could be the weather or just the time of year but some day's I just can't get out of bed. I'm still fighting this cold and it seems to be getting bad again, I thought I was on my way to recovery but the last few days I have been feeling like death warmed over!

I'll see what tomorrow brings and go from there, have a good one!

I ran out towards Payson this morning via canal road, I didn't really feel like going this morning but I was able to drag my butt out of bed and Get-R-Done! My first couple of miles were nice and easy, and then I was getting a little bored so I decided to pick up the pace a little bit. My goal was to do under an 8:00 mile with the first half a mile being up hill, I was able to do that with a 7:56 pace... I then did one mile relaxed and then towards the end picked up the last mile and that was a 8:30 mile, still way slow to what I am use to but it was good to get my legs moving a little faster. My average pace was 8:42 with my total time at 45:01, my heart rate average was at 147. No shooting stars again this  morning, oh well I'm sure there will be more down the road. My foot felt marginal, and as I'm writing this it seems to be doing alright but I'm still feeling the effects of this darn cold, a little tired and I always feel like I need a nap! Thats about it for today, I will see what tomorrow brings.

See ay tomorrow.

It was to windy for me today to run so I stayed inside I ran on the treadmill, I did some quarter mile strides between a 7:30 and 8:00 mile. Total time was 50:00, I don't know my average pace or heart rate I didn't wear my monitor or my watch... I felt pretty good for the most part, foot was marginal and is feeling pretty good as I write this, so thats pretty good. I can't stand running in the wind, and it felt good to be running in shorts and a short sleeve shirt even though I had to do it on the treadmill.

Well thats about it for today, see you on Monday.
