Warmed with a mile around my house and then I ran down to the high school to time the girls in their mile, They all did very well, most of them had PR's and so I think they are on the right track and they seem to me excited about running which is the main goal... I did a timed mile with them and mine was 7:25, we will time them again in a few weeks so my goal is to get that to a sub 7 mile. After the time trail I ran home and then after getting back to the house I ran out to the stake center to get a little more in. My average pace was 8:38 with a total time of 54:45, I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups. my leg was about a 4 on the pain scale so tolerable but it took a few miles to get it loosened up. It felt good on the mile that I ran with the girls probably cuz the track is softer.
