I ran Harry's Hill this morning the first time in about 5 months, my legs felt bouncy and had some zip in them which is a good sign. I plan on doing this run once every couple of weeks until summer gets here and then I will start doing it once a week to prepare for SGM. When I turned the corner and that hill was staring me right in the face I thought Oh Crapola! My legs felt real good going up but my lungs were having a hard time, I was averaging an 8:30 mile for most of it but then lost it towards the end a little bit and ended runing it in 9:08which is pretty good for me. I then extended my run up towards the mail boxes at woodland hills but I went about half way to my 4 mile mark and then headed back down the same way I came via Harry's Hill. I took it pretty easy coming back down as to not injure anything, I feel really good about this run, very pleased! My legs were getting pretty tired towards the end but I was in a cool down mode at that point anyway. I know my legs are going to be trashed for tomorrows run but I feel like that is a good thing because as they say "No Pain No Gain"...

Average pace was 8:34 with my heart rate average at 147 total time was 1:09:19...

See ya tomorrow

Great run Clay! Way to get out there and take it to the hill.

Nice pace today Clay especially with Harrys in the mix. Good training for Veyo. I haven't run Harrys since last fall, I guess one of these Saturdays I'll have to buck up and give it a shot. I could certainly use more hill training.

Thanks Tom & Jeff. It is a brutal hill it just keeps going and going and you never think your going to make it to the top, but you eventually do...

You're a regular ole' Tigger out there with the bouncy and the zip! Way to go! I'm glad someone's got it going for them today....it's not me. But that's ok, I have my good days too!
