3 miles outside around 5pm. Pretty good run, I do prefer the outside to the TM. Although once getting out there 1.5 miles I was like oh crap now I have to make it home. luckily I made it.
Baby is due June 2nd. My previous 2 babes have come early...one 3 weeks and one 5 weeks. So worst case scenario is lets say June 2nd. July 24th would be 7.5 weeks post baby. I can handle 6.2 miles then I am sure.
Hobble Creek would be 10 or 11 weeks post baby.
and St George would be 17 weeks...might be pushign it :) Hey I can shoot for the stars right?
It's official. I am no longer even going to try to work out in the morning. It's not happening anymore. :) Until this baby is born I think I'll be a PM runner.
10 miles at 8pm on the bike.
Read this book Wes got for Christmas while I biked. So far a very good read.
4 miles on the elliptical and 1 mile on the bike around 8:30pm. Everyone was watching the biggest loser including myself. I can't believe someone lost 32 lbs in ONE WEEK!!! Insane. Didn't sleep too good last night I think it's because I worked out so close to bedtime.
2.5 on the eliptical. tried to keep the resistance high. didn't have a lot of time b/c I had to run to the grocery store after and get home so Wes could go to an eq meeting. speaking of church I got a new calling. I thought I was getting released from nursery, and going to Sunbeams, but instead I get to keep my nursery calling and now I'm on the enrichment committee. which I like b/c I like enrichment and I've never been on that committee before.
can't sleep. so i'm too tired to go to gym in the morning and then can't fall asleep if I go to the gym at night. :) the time has come to put myself on bed rest. this reminds me of the time I diagnosed myself with swine flu. maybe I need a new bed? I got a nice body pillow for christmas and that helped for a couple nights, but that's it. I feel dehydrated a lot so I try to drink lots of water, but then I'm up all night using the bathroom. and these dreams are taking over my life. everynight dreams. all over the dream spectrum. all kinds of guest appearances. none with burt yet though so I guess I should count my blessings? :) ha ha only kiddin burt. Did I tell you not only my uncle's name is burton, but so was my Grandpa's. I just never knew my Grandpa that's why my uncle came to my mind first when I found out your name was Burton.
Did 3 miles on the elliptical and biked 3 miles. also did some lifting. i actually woke up this morning!!
See burt it is a fairy fantasy land after all.
And on a side note the caulk gun and I were best friends yesterday and I think my heating bill is going to go way down! I wish I would have done this before winter.
And you know what I find yummy? dipping doritos into cottage cheese. yummo.
If you're looking for Burt see my Wednesday post...
When I arrived at the gym and saw no parking spots I decided it's time for everyone at golds to start carpooling. :)
1 mile walking on TM and 3 miles on bike (30 minutes total) followed by 30 mins w/ weights. If you're wondering why I don't run anymore wonder no more b/c today I give my explanation. I have had 2 kiddos, both born early. One 3 weeks and one 5 weeks. I'm not a fan of preemie babies or the NICU although neither of my kids have ever been in the NICU I just know it's expensive and not fun. I start to get hard braxton hicks contractions fairly early in my pregnancies. When I run I feel like it's just one long contraction. Plus it's really uncomfortable to run with what feels like a rock in my stomach. :) So to try to help prevent another early delivery I have resorted to the less impact activities. And so no running. I tried today at a 10 min/mile pace and I only made it one minute before it was too uncomfortable. :(
I did 3.25 miles on the elliptical in 30 minutes and 5.5 miles on the bike in 15 minutes.
It's odd to me that different machines calculate the mileage different. I am guessing the level and the rpms would change the amount of miles as well. However I like it when the miles are high :) It's like when you find a scale that shows your weight lower than any other one. Those are my types of machines.
I'm not really sure I should count the miles on here really. B/c again today I was on a machine that said I did 5 miles on the elliptical in 30 minutes. :) sorry but I can't even run 5 miles in 30 minutes. So maybe i'll try to figure something else out. I also did 3 miles on the bike in 15 minutes. And I left my ensign at the gym. grrr hate it when I forget stuff. I read a couple good quotes I wanted to write down. I'll have to look it up online I guess.
3 miles on the Elliptical in 31 minutes. That sounds about right. :) Someone stole my ensign from the gym. isn't stealing and ensign like stealing a ctr ring???
4 miles on the bike and 20-30 minutes lifting weights and using different machines. not really sure on how much time it was though. sore from yesterdays lunges and squats.
4 miles on the elliptical in 40 minutes and 10 minutes on the bike. I must be losing my mind b/c I've lost my ear phones now. Not sure if I left them at the gym or lost them on the way out? One time I had my ipod shuffle in my pocket and it fell out on my way into the gym. I found it on my way out...run over and smashed, but I did find it. that sucked.
