If you're looking for Burt see my Wednesday post...

When I arrived at the gym and saw no parking spots I decided it's time for everyone at golds to start carpooling. :)

1 mile walking on TM and 3 miles on bike (30 minutes total) followed by 30 mins w/ weights.  If you're wondering why I don't run anymore wonder no more b/c today I give my explanation.  I have had 2 kiddos, both born early.  One 3 weeks and one 5 weeks.  I'm not a fan of preemie babies or the NICU although neither of my kids have ever been in the NICU I just know it's expensive and not fun.  I start to get hard braxton hicks contractions fairly early in my pregnancies.  When I run I feel like it's just one long contraction.  Plus it's really uncomfortable to run with what feels like a rock in my stomach. :)  So to try to help prevent another early delivery I have resorted to the less impact activities. And so no running.  I tried today at a 10 min/mile pace and I only made it one minute before it was too uncomfortable. :(

You get rock hard abs when you're pregnant? Lucky.

J/K Actually I can totally relate with you on the no running while pregnant thing I never ran when I was pregnant. Even when I'm only 8 weeks along, I just can't handle it. Enjoy your pregnancy break and you'll get back into the groove of running again when baby is here.

You keep that baby in the oven honey.
