long story short: possible stress fracture on my left foot a few weeks ago. and then sprained right ankle a few days after that. so i took a few weeks off for recovery. this saturday i decided to take a test run. no aches/pains post run, so this week it's back to real training! i'm so glad this syncs up with the daylight savings change. 13 weeks until the UVM full and 16 weeks after that SGM. yikes! also it's not smart but i'm going to cautiously run & maybe walk the canyonlands half. i'm just happy i got in, so i'm going to run slow n' easy and take in the scenery. |
