Swiss Days 10K.
A very nice day for the race. Nice cool temperatures and no wind. It's a course that starts and finishes at the same location and has a net elevation gain of about 250 feet in the first 2.4 miles. Eight Wasatch XC runners finished ahead of me and a few regular type runners. I was thinking I'd struggle to get to much under 40 minutes but had a good race and got under 39 mintues. I beat all runners over 40 which felt good since I'm 49.
I got 12th out of 181 men. There were 194 women that ran it and I didn't get chicked.
Miles: 6:06, 6:47, 6:26, 5:58, 6:01, 6:13 with the final .2 in 1:03.
I saw a neighbor Chris Lundell that is in the 50-54 age division and he won that. Two first in AD by South Jordan!
