The Herriman Trail Half was only 12 miles. Good race conditions. About 65' at start and 70' at finish. The course is mostly single track with rocks the whole way. No running downhill to fast due to all the rocks on the path.
I ran pretty good the first few miles and then stayed behind a couple runners for the mid section of the race as I was nervous about pushing to hard and cramping up near the end. In hind site I should have ran faster the mid section.
Came in 3rd in my AD or 50-59. 1st was exactly 1 minute ahead and 2nd was about 45 seconds ahead. I got much closer to 1st and 2nd over the last 3 miles as I opened up and put on the gas.
