I helped set up the finish line at the Stake 5k and then I forgot to warm up.  As people were arriving I stayed around and talked with them.  I was hoping for low competition but a college boy showed up that looked like he could give me a challenge.  Sure enough he started pretty fast and I stayed with him.  At about 1.3 miles theres a pretty steep hill that only last a couple hundred yards.  He gained on me running up the hill but as we got to the top he didn't speed back up to his regular pace and I passed him for good at that point.

Miles:  6:37, 6:42, 6:09, 6:17 for last .31.

Taunia also ran it so I looped back after resting a bit and got a little more running in.

Congratulations. It's good to see you're still fast. Note to self, "Old men can still run fast."
