| With cloud cover all night the morning temperature was well above normal at near 60' and there was virtually no wind.
I had already decide to whimp out a little and save some of my energy for tennis and pickleball later in the day.
The vikings axe was dropped and the race was on. My son-in-law Austin, who runs for UVU, took off and it was obvious very soon that no one could keep up with his blistering 5 minute mile pace.
The course was changed this year so that it was about as flat as you can make it in Ephraim. I ran miles of 6:40, 7:20, and 6:35. I'm assuming I could have been around 20 minutes flat if I had want to push it a little more.
